Generator Service
- Similar to your car, you want your generator to start and work when you need it. You shouldn’t wait for something to malfunction.
- Lucci Electric offers a preventative maintenance program for your automatic or portable generator to keep you generator running effectively and efficiently for many years.
- We recommend a full generator service (Level 1) once a year followed by a “follow up check”(Level 2) approximately six months after your Level 1. Level 1 includes changing your oil (other fluids as applicable) , oil filter, air filter, spark plugs, gaskets, battery and charging test and provide a complete check of all components and we will make any adjustments or recommendations. We will simulate a power outage and test the automatic transfer switch for stand- by units.
- We also program your generator to start up (exercise) once a week to make sure it’s running and ready to go when you need it.
- New technology allows us and you to monitor your generator remotely from the app on your smart phone or smart device. So home or away if a problem arises you/we will be notified to attend to any issues in advance.
- Servicing your generator on a regular basis insures power when you need it and helps to prolong the life of your generator.
